Warm tortillas, plenty of filling, fresh herbs, and lime within reach. This is the kind of dinner where everyone builds a slightly different plate and nobody needs a formal serving order. What would you add first: hot sauce, pickled onions, or extra lime?

Tacos are a strong argument for sharing dinner

A flour-dusted loaf, a seeded loaf, and the difficult decision of which one to cut first. Fresh bread barely needs a plan beyond butter and something warm to drink. Are you a crust person or a soft-centre person?

The crust is doing a lot of the convincing here

A mirror glaze looks spectacular, but I am torn between a perfect finish and a cake that can be made without reorganizing the whole kitchen. Would you spend an extra hour on decoration, or put that time into the filling and flavour?

For a dessert idea, I would put lemon zest in the filling and a loose blackberry topping over a biscuit base. Keep some berries whole so the topping has texture, and leave the sweetness low enough for the lemon to show through. What fruit combination would you choose?

If you made a crunchwrap at home, what would go inside? I would want something crisp in the middle, a little heat, and enough filling to be satisfying without making it impossible to fold.
